[AUS] Dinner Meet in North Austin | Tuesday, July 16
 

Hey guys and gals. I've owned an S2000 for more than three years now but I don't personally know any S2000 owners in Austin. I love my car. It's a stock 2007 NFR. I'd love to meet some of you and see you cars.

PLACE: Whadaya say we meet at Might Fine Burgers at 10515 N Mopac Expy #205, Austin, TX 78759 in the Shops at Arbor Walk just south of the Domain area?

TIME: Let's plan to meet at 7 pm to avoid traffic and peak heat.

PARKING: Let's park on the west side of the building along the wall under MoPac frontage road and between the road and Chipotle.

After hanging out a bit, we can get food and then come back out.

I hope a few of you will come out.

I might be game; I'm normally busy on Tuesday's at 7, but I'm not sure about next week yet. If I end up being free (and if my car's not in for engine work; getting it in for an overhaul soon I hope) I'll try to swing by!

I hope you can come out. Would love to meet you and see your car. It would be nice to start growing an S2000 community in Austin again and meeting regularly for food meets and drives. I am happy to organize a drive in the fall if there's sufficient interest.

I'll try and go. Sliverstone 03. Clutch started slipp last weekend. But I'll bring it out. I've been hoping a group would gather up.

I’m in San Antonio 06 LBP would very much like to see a group form and be apart of it. But I don’t get off work until 6 so with traffic I wouldn’t be able to make it in time. Please keep in the loop about future events and if I can make it I will be down.

We are still on for dinner at Mighty Fine Burgers tomorrow evening at 7 pm. Looking forward to meeting a few fellow S2000 owners. Feel free to invite other S2000 owners who may not frequent the forum.

Sadly, no one showed up. Parking was in the shade; there was a nice breeze; it was actually pleasant to stand outside. I waited 30 minutes and went into Mighty Fine Burgers. Looked out for some late comers. But no one showed up. I left around 8 pm. As you might imagine I was disappointed that I didn't get to meet other S2000 owners. Clearly there isn't enough interest in these kinds of meets. Can't know until you try. I tried.

Sorry to hear that man, if I was off I would have met up, seems like everything is social media these days, I don’t do Facebook. So I was hoping the forums site would still have some interest. I would really like to get a group together for a cruise sometime this fall. Maybe give a little more advance notice. Don’t give up
