Ouch, sorry to hear that you're going through the same thing. I got pretty lucky it looks like (although, fingers crossed until it actually sells)... I've got 10 people asking about it, and at least 3 offers already, which is really nice. I hope it goes as well for you.

I hear there are suposed to be more floods tonight and tomorrow; everyone get your cars to high ground. We don't want any more casualties!

I live in Pflugerville - I have a complete healthy motor ready to pull from a running AP1 w/ 125K miles if you're interested in trying to swap it and get your car back on the road. I could deliver to your shop, after you come by my house and inspect to motor to make sure it meets your expectations. If not, I might be interested in those wheels if they are 17x9 + 45

Forgot to post here, but a few days ago I picked up a new S2k from another member of this forum! This time it's a 2003 (still in Silverstone, so my hard top which I didn't end up selling doesn't even need a spray), with 13000 miles.

She's got a few dings and dents, and someone's drilled a lot of holes in the interior, but nothing that will cost a fortune to fix. Overall she's in way better condition than my old one, and probably cost a lot less than it would have taken me to get my flooded one back in repair.

Anyways, I've already put back on some of my old mods, and she's starting to feel like mine. It's sort of fun to start over; I'm looking forward to finding out what I'd change in the build this time!

Pictures forthcoming as soon as I pull some of the dings out and get a sunny day.

Any chance the ECU survived? Still trying to figure out a bizarre fuel problem.

Sucks I dealt with a flood as well awhile back with my beater, however not as bad as this, About 16" of water. Few tips I can offer to others. Don't try to start the car (seems obvious), dont be tempted trying to power up wet electronics, ASAP take out the ecu and any other low lying electronics and let them dry, within a few hours corrosion can set in. The fibrous insulation/sound deadening found under most automotive carpet will stay wet indefinitely, so rip that put.
