Default Exhaust Drone

My 05 had a very quiet exhaust. Don't know what was on it.
Now, my 06 has a loud drone. Anyone out there know what may have been on the 05 or any suggestions for a quieter exhaust.
Thanks

Stock will make the least noise.

The older Invidia exhaust systems had a horrible drone to them. Is yours a cat-back only or is it header-back?

If it's stock and has a drone then it most likely has been modified as suggested it could have the resonator removed. You would have to check the exhaust under the car. If you can slide a camera under your car and take some snap shots we can diagnose it here on the board. Otherwise we can meet up and jack one side of the car up to check it out.

here is a picture of a unmodified stock exhaust. If the muffler looking thing before the y split(resonator) is missing on your exhaust thats what causing all the noise...if you need a stock exhaust that hasnt been modified i have an 04 exhaust sitting in my garage we could work something out. just let me know
