Default Recommend Shop in NW Austin

Can anyone recommend a good service shop in the NW Austin / Cedar Park area? I've been in Austin for a year and a half but have never had a need for any service but I'm getting close to a major service milestone.

Thanks in advance.

Pm svann or chris s, I'm sure they can lead you to a good shop..

But, pretty sure they'll chime in.

JC Autospec is close to you, about a block away from La Frontera in RR. They work on a lot of the S2000s in this area, and they have been fabulous about supporting S2KCA when we have track days and other local events.

I can't really recommend JC Autospec to anybody any more after they left FOUR critical suspension bolts loose on my S2000 last weekend while doing an alignment. John Long's response was not very satisfying, either. He said he would send a check to me for a refund, but didn't even offer to make the alignment right. He just said he could refer me to Soulspeed up there for an alignment. I wasn't even yelling or anything when I told him about this whole thing. I basically just laid the facts out on the table: When I got the car back to San Antonio and unloaded it off the trailer, I heard a clunking noise every time I hit the brake pedal while moving. After I jacked up the car, I found the source of the noise. It was the camber and caster adjustment bolts on both front lower A-arms. They had failed to tighten them back up after the alignment.

Nevermind the fact that I probably burned almost $40 in fuel to trailer the car up to Round Rock and back.

Find a member that has the tools to do it. Shops are too expensive

Soulspeed is my favorite shop, while JC has been hit or miss. Neither shop has been perfect, but Soulspeed kicked JC's butt at making things right, and they're always friendly & in a good mood.

My Miata needs an alignment, corner balance, & fender roll, & Soulspeed gets that job.
