where/who Installation with soft-top glass window
Hello Austin peeps, wanted to see if anyone could suggest a good place (shop) or person that could help with installation of a new robbins soft-top with a glass window. I have a year 2000 with the plastic window and I want to shot myself b/c i cant see out of it. This is just a little out of my realm of mechanic skill, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Alex

On the north side I recommend Auto Spec (Auto Repair | Round Rock+Georgetown | Auto-Spec). I haven't been to anyone on the south side that I could give a recommendation for (which is sad, driving all the way up to auto spec anytime I need something is annoying), but I swung by J&H Auto Trim a few days ago to get a quote on some soft top repairs and I think he mentioned that they also did installation. I don't know what their work is like, but they're just off Slaughter and Chisholm Trail if you want to check it out.

Clovis is a north texas S2ki member, he installs them all the time. he is one of the cheapest and likely the fastest at the replacement.

Hi there, sorry I didn't get here soon enough. I replace softtops in the San Antonio area for reasonable prices. You order and bring the top and your car, I'll replace it for $500. An extra $40 for the glass conversion and an extra $40 if it's an EZ-ON (a bit of extra work on the installer's part). I'd recommend a Robbins top, if you order from www.topsonline.com call and ask for Seta or Vic and they'll hook you up with free shipping if you mention you're an s2ki member. I've probably done at least 10 S2000 tops now since 2013, 2 NB Miatas, and 1 NC Miata.
