Just ordered one of those Arkon heavy duty bendable phone mounts that mount to your seat mount bolt so that i'd have something better to hold my phone while recording telemetry on the track. Can't wait to try it out. I'm currently using one of those phone mounts that go into the CD player, but sometimes during shifts I'll accidentally stop the recording. I picked it up based on this thread:

If it works out well enough, i'll probably pick up another for my Civic.

Dood! This is so funny you say this, I was looking at the same stuff except I and doing the modifry dash mount and making it magnetic.

 

Oh nice, how'd it work out? I wanted something mounted a little lower than the Modifry bracket closer to the top of the dash, and I didn't want that Modifry bracket that mounts to where the radio is.

 

ended up grabbing a 3m double sided sticky tape mount. works awesome!!! I love it.

no, lol I just installed it yesterday. I will be trying it out on the polar bear run soon.
