Anyone here traded their s2k to dealer?
 

Did anyone here traded their 03 s2k to McDavid Acura in Plano?? It's a 1 owner car from Texas and had a few tasteful add ons. I have some feeling that the owner might be on this site. If you're the owner I would like to ask a few questions about the vehicle.

I purchased it already. The vehicle seems so meticously taken cared of I just wanted to ask him a few things about the vehicle.

You might check the S2000 registry and see if it's listed. Enjoy the car and please stay off those salted roads. Lol!

I saw the same listing online and was eyeing it while I was doing research (I'm new to the S2000). One day I thought I'd stop by the dealership during my lunch hour to check out the car. I was kinda bummed to learn that it has just been sold. So I only walked around the car to take a quick look. It looked to be in pristine condition, except for a tear in the driver's seat. Pretty sure you know all this already, as far as I can tell, it's got the K&N intake, Invidia exhaust. Not sure if there's any suspension mods. The best thing was the Rays CE28s and Michelin PSS all around. I don't think the dealer had any idea how much those are worth. So you got a great deal even at their asking price.

Edited: I just realized you came to purchase the car from OK. I thought you had the car shipped to NY.

Yes I seen the Volks and I made an offer and they accepted it. If t wasn't for the ce28 I probably wouldn't had made an offer lol. The car did not had a single rock chip or nothing which makes me wonder if it was repainted. After owning it for 2 weeks there's a few rock chips on the hood already so it's impossible it never had one before me.

The invidia exhaust is already off the car. It was supposedly sold before me but they called me and told me the sale fell through because the other party couldn't get financed. This is my 4th s2k and I think I like this one more than my ap2 that only had 30k when I sold it.

That's awesome and congrats on the purchase! I'm keeping an eye out for a nice S2000, but still undecided on AP1 or AP2. I test drove an AP2 but never driven an AP1. I've done as much reading as I can, but do you mind sharing your thoughts on AP1 vs AP2, since you've owned both? What things you like more about this one than your previous AP2?

lots of threads on that Subject already. Ap1 makes me smile more when I get after it. Ap2 felt more car like. CR was ok but needed a soft top. Perfect car would be a soft top CR with a 9000 rpm motor.
