I'd be happy to lead some DFW folks on up to the starting location of the drive...The scenic route of course. I need to hit up the talimena pass on the way up there anyway

Hopefully it's not as foggy as it was last time I drove the Talimena pass. I was in my Jeep and could not see 2 feet in front of me. Driving 5 MPH in the Jeep was much scarier than going 150 in the S.

last fall's Talimena drive was like that. Where there wasn't thick fog, there was a ton of traffic. It's just too popular of a place on the weekends. Not really worth it IMO.

Sounds like fun. However, our I will be attending our third autocross on Saturday, Sept. 13 and just can't give up the entire weekend. Have fun.
