Ebay is removing alot of the Pre-order sales and most of the autions you do see there are pre-orders. If you click on completed sales, you will see alot of people have bidded already. I predict that the first day is where the sales will be. Some people would rather see proof thats its on hand. Pre-ordering isnt even Guaranteed you will get one on release date.

What I plan to do is first gather info. which store will have it, How many units will the store have, What location, what will the weather be like, ect.

I hope it's not cold....it was sure cold when the 360 came out. Luckly for me i didn't camp. It was pure luck...and me spreading rumors that Target had some....I don't think i'll get that lucky this time.

My girlfriend works in the front office at the Best Buy warehouse in Flower Mound...

But seriously, anyone who buys one of these things the day it is released will easily make $1000 profit from reselling it. The reports I am hearing are that they will not be readily available until AT LEAST May-June of 2007.
I have been waiting forever for the PS3 to come out, after hearing of the shortage of only 400,000 units coming to the US I went out and bought a XBOX 360 two weeks ago.
