I spun out pleanty of times when I first got my S, pushing on nice wet pavement with no cars around. I took the right turn where you get on O'Connor by the horse heading towards 114. I ended up doing a 180 and stopped parallel to the curb with 2"s to spare. I was going into the apex of the turn at 35 MPH. But on another rainy day I was on 114 driving home and due to the construction, there was a pool of water on the highway. I was driving like I was driving Miss Daisy, and my car spun out. Luckily, after I spun 720 my car stopped on top of the hill. My heart skipped a couple of beats when I was looking at the drop. After much researching the OEM AP1 tires, they said that they have a bigger contact point by 10mm than others tires with same specs. Due to the limited supply of 16" tires, I got 17" rims with bigger tires. I can definately feel the difference driving with AP2 tire specs than my AP1. I still drive like I'm driving Miss Daisy in the rain and always checking out how much treds I have on my back tires. Glad I made it alive.

i drove in the rain today for the first time.

My major concern was getting water in the lower engine bay and suspension pieces..i wanted to keep those areas dry...
I'll try never to drive in the rain again!

On a side note, i have brand new Conti ExtremeContacts and i drove like a grandmother
