Great price! The 02-03 coilovers, IMHO, are the best that Honda produced for the S...

I take it these are a little harsher than the AP2 (2004, specifically) coilovers, giving a bit less roll? What, in your opinion (Mark or whomever) makes them so good? I have yet to thrash on an '03 so I really wouldn't know.

Well from my understanding. The 04+ fronts are stiffer and the rears or softer.. (than previous years).

I think putting MY02-03 coils on a AP2 would be a bad idea.. they changed up the sway bars a bit and it would prob. have a adverse effect on the handling.... Just a guess.

Based on this:
http://www.hondanews.com/categories/898/releases/1501

The AP1 and AP2 front swaybar are the same.
The AP2 rear swaybar is smaller.
The AP2 front springs are stiffer, and the rear springs are softer.

I found that the AP2 rear took too long to take a set or recover from transitions. Now that I think of it, it could have been the swaybar more than the springs...

I do find on mine that the rear moves around a fair bit during a tight corner if I'm sliding a bit (or on the verge of sliding). I always attributed it to the tires and sidewall flex or tread squirm.
