If you ever want to make the drive, there's a Rudy's up in Frisco right off the Tollway ... opened in the last year.

Is Lakeway BBQ really good? I haven't heard anything about it and I live about 2 miles from there.

sonny bryans, red/hot/blue both suck IMHO.
Clarks is WAY overpriced for what you get and I have no idea how they pass the health code, that place is nasty, I won't be going back...drive or no drive.
Bone Daddy's is good, we like Dickey's (fried okra FTW!) Or there's Spring Creek, no okra, but good Q.
If I offended anyone with my above statements please realize I'm a native Texan and know the best BBQ is what you do in your own back yard and getting your meat from a real butcher, not Tom Thumb...stepping off my BBQ high horse now

Bone Daddy's isn't all that good.
Spring Creek BBQ on Central just north of Beltline or Dickeys on Plano Road just north of Arapaho.
Spring Creek has the rolls and Dickeys has the veggies.

Spring Creek rolls rock if you get them straight out of the oven.
If you're ever driving down to Texas World Speedway, take the Centerville exit off I-45 and go to Country Cousins Barbeque. It's a little shack just east of the interstate. GREAT Q.
County Line BBQ near Bass Pro Shops on Lake Ray Hubbard is decent.

We can debate tomato versus vinegar based sauces in another thread...
