Hey guys, I have a VAFC I that i purchased with PnP harness. I installed it and my car ran for a minute and stalled out. I believe that the pin/wire setup may be incorrect. Anyone here know how to check the wire/pin setup? I am sure i just have a wire or two that need to be swapped. I am anxious to get this installed and tuned so any help is much appreciated!

Jspd, what makes you think that the wiring is not right? Did you re-init the VAFC? Are you familiar with the VAFC setup?

I don't have an easy reference to post up but I can check the manual. I might have a harness I can scare up that I know is good to take a pic of.

 

i plugged in the vafc and my car ran for about 3 min real rough and then stalled out. i think i may have a wire crossed or something. really sucks cause i want to dyno tune. ill bring it by on monday if you wan to look at it. i would more than appreciate it.

 

No problem. I can also fix it if it's not pinned out right. Some of the earlier Frog harnesses and my own harnesses did have issues.

But you said you bought it with the VAFC... wasn't it working for the previous owner?

 

i bought it from a guy on the boards, so it was not on my car when i got it. previous owner did not install it. he picked it up from another guy who used it on his supercharger setup.
