Temming

Hi Folks,

This was my first hill country drive and I had a great time. I really didn't know Texas scenery could rival that of California's - At least away from the ocean. I left early so I hope things went on Saturday evening and Sunday. I took a few pictures before I left on Saturday. We had an awesome time.

But with the wet weather, my camera didn't make it out of its bag very often so I really don't have any quality pictures.

Had a great time and drove 1,061 miles (many on some of the best roads in Texas)! Thanks to Stefan, Angel, Sondra and everyone else that made this event happen. The steaks on Saturday night were awesome! We managed to get back to DFW Sunday night just as the storms were hitting around 1030pm.

Nice pictures Dave and Sondra (Dave, thanks for the suggestion on the return route - nice roads).

Made the best of a semi wet weekend. Good scenery and very nice roads. I don't know what the fine line between hills and mountains are, but they seemed very "mountainous". Total miles Friday and Saturday = 950.
