I think the meet idea where you could show off the goods is a great way to get local intrest built.
Let me know and I can host up another meet at my place and we can get your car up as an example. Possibly find a road to get some quick data logs and have those on display so people can see that ugly dip in the 5000rpm range go away.

I built an adapter pipe for the Invidea Q300, and installed it with my mid-pipe. The the results were as expected. I'll post the plots of the results soon. Unfortunately, the Q300 is way too raspy with any mid-pipe. I will have to put sound deadening material inside the expansion chamber later this week, and see if that reduces the rasp enough.
