Independence Day Get Togother
BBQ, great company and the largest fireworks display in Texas.

Jo & I are up for hosting an Independence Day party. Here's the plan:

- Party begins: 6:00 pm.
- Dinner at 7:00 pm.
- Head to Trinityfest for the fireworks display around 9 pm.

Jo & I live just north of downtown Dallas so we are about 3 miles from the fireworks display which will be held near Reunion arena. Trinityfest is a free event but does require a ticket to get into. Tickets can be picked up at any local 7 Eleven.

The house is located at 4115 Buena Vista. For most of you, get to highway 75, exit at Fitzhugh go west approximately 1/2 mile, turn left (go south) on Buena Vista we are on the right approximately 1/8 mile from Fitzhugh. If you get lost, call 214.219.0990.

We'll supply the food and soft drinks. Please reply to this thread or PM by July 2st so we know how much food to buy.

I wish I could make it, but my wife and I are flying to California for the 4 day weekend. Hope you all have a good / safe time!

Sorry, I'm in Tyler. I have a standing fireworks duel with my across-the-lake neighbor. I've never lost and still manage to keep the explosives budget under $500 :eek: .

I'm really bummed to miss this party (that's 2 events in a row :( ).

Anything we can bring?

If I can make it back from another 4th of July party in time, we will try and attend.

We plan to attend but we might need someone in the Dallas area to put us up for the evening. Our friends near Weatherford let us stay at their home this week but the commute accross two counties might be a bad idea on the night of the 4th.
