N. Texas S2000 Swap Meet
 

Here are the details for the S2000 swap meet.

LOCATION: Top Speed Pro 1, Addison Tx.

DATE: Sunday the 28th

TIME: 2pm - 7pm

Our swap meet will be held in conjunction with DFW Alliance car group which will also have a meet at Top Speed. Obviously we won't be there from 2-7pm, but George LeFleur of Top Speed will provide marked off spaces for us if he knows how many are coming to sell/trade parts. So I need to know how many are coming to sell/trade so I can then tell George how many spaces are needed. George stated this is a big event, and quite a few S2000's have come in the past, so we might see some new potential members as well. I've added a sign up sheet if you coming to sell/trade. PLEASE INDICATE WHETHER YOU ARE A POTENTIAL BUYER OR SELLER IN YOUR POST.

I know getting stuff to this is a PITA for S2000 owners so I'll throw out this offer. I have a large van I can transport quite a few things in, if you want to drop those large parts off to me I will transport them to this meet. The only thing I ask is the parts be clearly marked as to ownership and any delicate pieces be wrapped/protected. I'll be at the social gathering on the 21st if you want to drop anything off then. This should be a fun meet, plus you get to tour Top Speed and see their latest projects and products.

Updated. Just to clarify the list is just for those selling/trading parts or potential buyers. If your coming to see Top Speed or the other cars you don't need to be listed, this is an open event so lot's of people (possible buyers) will be in attendance hopefully. George also wanted me to pass along they have a 2000 Ap1 S2000 that needs a new home, it will be on display if your interested or call George directly for specifics at the link in original post.

This will be a great time to clean out those extra parts, tires, what have you that you keep stubbing your feet on in your garage! Man, I'm gathering up all kinds of things!


Once you have posted your wanting to buy or sell I will add your screen name and indicate your intentions by either (B) buyer or (S) seller.

+1 Peter on more sellers. This a golden opportunity to make some quick cash in one afternoon if you have some S2000 parts just laying around gathering dust.

Would you want to post this on other forums? Or is that risking that too many people may show up as well as those who may cause trouble?

Which forums? Houston & Central Texas groups? I'm not sure they would come this far, I'll consider it though.

I was sort of thinking non-S2K forums. For example, I believe that other cars can utilize our wheels, seats, (probably about it?)

I knew about the alliance meet. Gathering a swap meet is good idea too. On a sunday? Im down, coming with the crew maybe.
