I took my block to Alamo to put Darton sleeves in it, and they use John Day. He has built a lot of engines...

You could also call Endyn and see who they use.

I outsource all sleeving to Endyn or Golden Eagle. I wouldn't trust anyone else.

For that level of damage, unless you just want to sleeve for turbo, I would scrap what you've got and go source another motor entirely. If you use what you have, magnaflux everything. I suspect the damage is going to cost much more to repair than to replace, even if you do it with a new Honda bottom end end head. Used is much cheaper than both.

Even if you want to sleeve, you still may be better off starting with something with less damage. You'll just have to get it looked at.

Okay, so I spoke with Endyn. Very helpful it is $1050 for the block to be sleeved. that does NOT include bore, hone and line honing, Line honing starts out at $200, and Bore and honing is $375 from what he said.

They invited me to come watch them Fire up there 360hp all motor F20c next week, I cant wait

I told them what had happened to my motor, I thought originally I had lost a retainer lock, but he told me to look at the stem of the valve I lost, to see if the head of it snapped off, And he was correct. He said locks are not the problem but the valves are. He said Endyn ran a set of new OEM valves in one race then X-rayed them and found cracking in the top of the stems.

He told me to run good aftermarket Valves, and have new guides made from brass to match the valves, cause he was saying the OEM valve guides have over a thousand and a half of an inch of play in them, and should be around seven hundred tenth of a thousands He said whit the combo of the aftermarket valves and matching guides the valve train would be indestructible

^ He's seen issues w/ the top of the valve stems, or with the retainers? I've never heard of an issue w/ the valve stem cracking, but retainer weakness and cracking/failure on AP1s is a common issue for engines that have been over-revved. The AP2 retainers have been beefed up to compensate, and most people that rebuild their head usually go w/ the AP2 retainers for the enhanced robustness.
