I need your help. We've held the previous two meetings in Tarrant county. Please post your suggestions for a Dallas county meeting place. I'm shooting for the second or third Friday (1/12 or 1/19). Of course we need a fun place but we do have some business to discuss. Some planning is in order for 2001 track, tech and drive events. Our new website, membership and officer positions are also on the agenda.

I don't have any concerns with where we meet, but we might not want to do 1/12. That's MLK weekend and some people might get out of town if its a long weekend for them. I have a tennis tournament (indoors, of course) but could make it depending on the time.

Bone Daddy's steak house.. at 75 & spring valley.. for those who haven't been.. very good not so good for you food. deep fried everything and larger portions then anyone that will fit in a stook can eat. oh and the waitresses are umm.. well hooters-like but will a little more fabric. just fair warning incase that will offend anyone.

if not a place to eat.. my apt complex is new.. so there aren't many cars on my side and plenty of parking.. if we just need a place to meet.

Haven't been to Bone Daddy's yet. But that sounds good to me just as long as you guys/gals think we will be able to get a little organizing done there. As for a meeting date either is fine, but I also prefer 1/19.

Stefan, if we do not have the membership list yet, we need to get it. I think a mailer is appropriate to dues paying members to let them know the club is coming back together.

yes, indeed. just looked.. their not in the book but i'm gonna stop by there tonight to see if they'll take reservations.. their about 10min from my apt.

i know everytime i've been there i've seen at least 2 or 3 parties of 10+

ok.. i made reservations.. she said their really packed fridays and saturdays.. so the reservations will just make a 2hr wait into 45min wait. and parking is tight. so if anyone has a better place to go speak up.. but we probably won't do better then a 30-45min wait anywhere in dallas on a friday night.

She just wrote down 'S2000 1/19 7pm' so just say your w/ the s2000 club.. or 'pretty shiny car thingies' maybe she'll get it.
