I'm new to using the forums. Ive had my s2k for almost a year now and she recently got tboned by some ditz in a jeep. Its currently getting a new uniside basically. I just wanted to see where other people in the DFW area meet up. I was given a v8 challenger for my rental and not having my car made me want to do more to it and meeting other s2k owners at meets and stuff just sounds fun to me. That v8 challenger makes me want to turbo charge the car and was wondering if anybody knows somebody in the area with experience working on s2ks. I work at Caliber Collision so I know a good bit about cars but turbos seem a little complicated to me because of the amount of misinformation and variety on the web.

Welcome! The majority of the meets and information for the local S2000 group is posted on the Facebook group (North Texas S2Ki). We have a few very knowledgeable S2000 mechanics, Todd Marcucci in the Fort Worth/Mid-Cities, John Wallace (Denton area), Matt Duncan (East Dallas/Terrell area) all can be found on the Facebook group. We have monthly meets, and frequent group drives (usually once weather warms up), and overall a good active community. There are a few turbocharged guys, and a few Supercharged (including myself), so there will be some local people that you can talk to if you decide to go that route. Good luck!
