Hello!

Just wanted to introduce myself to the community. I just purchased a 2001 S2K yesterday from a friend of mine, and I wanted to get in on part of the community.

I formerly had a 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX and I sold it a couple of weeks ago. I had what was known in the Subaru community as a "stage IV" wrx. Basically, 300whp and 285wtq with a front mount, larger turbo and all that good stuff.

Having worked in the aftermarket performance industry for quite sometime now, I thought I'd make a change in life and sell my car to enter another market. If you are familiar with JonDemand out of CA, that is the company that I have affiliation with. Lots of J's Racing, Spoon, and Muegen stuff. And I'm sure if anyone needed anything, I could help in supplying it (I am not trying to sell anything, just giving background info).

Though I am fairly new to the S2000 community, I do hope that I can learn a lot from the community as well as eventually contribute to the community.

I am in the Dallas/Las Colinas area and if you see a red AP1 s2k with a "Texas Exes" stick on the rear window thing when my top is down, don't hesitate to wave. Haha, I'm not sure if you guys wave to each other, but we, Subaru owners did. Please don't hate. Thanks and hope to eventually meet everyone.

-kev.

Kev, welcome... yes most of the S owners on this forum will wave... some owners don't and sometimes you don't always see the other person.

We have meets every now and then, check the schedule that's posted for the meets. Paco also does a garage day but I think he's about to be shipped back out so not sure if we'll have anything like that for a while (I think he was planning one more garage day before that).

There are also a lot of people on here that would be willing to help even w/o a tech day... I sent you a PM w/ some other info too.
