that's the complete opposite of what i experienced riding in my friends. he upped the psi and had an hks exhaust. the things came off the apex like a fwd car.
Then he was not driving it 10/10ths, or using the gas hard on corner exit. It biases to nearly full rwd on application of gas.
what year did you drive? they have tuned the suspension over the years which has changed it's handling characteristics.

That is what is good about your tune and midpipe is that it is just icing on the cake like the suspension mods. His "power" mods got him a few tenths like my suspension. I can definitely see how the sum of all (mild suspension like mine, mild power like Pete, square wheels and some aero) would be really really nice.

My GT-R is a 10 the suspension didn't change the balance or power delivery that much just fine tuning from 09-11 and 12-13

This is one thing I love about my car, the Sky. It has all the nannies which can be useful in rain or other less than optimal conditions when you're just driving. But I can also turn them all off if I want to track it or hit the twisties real hard. The only thing I can't turn off is the ABS.

I agree the Pontiac/Saturn has its good points, but I can't get over the soft top design and the Consumer Reports reliability scores. I know this is taking the original topic way off topic, but that is what scares me with some American or German cars. Some people have ZERO issues and some people have TONS of issues, and some right in between. With Honda, issues are more on the few side. Anyway, glad you enjoy your Saturn and it is a GREAT car on paper, but I would never want to own one.

Great part for the 06+ is you can do the same in turning off the VSA, all but ABS, and if you leave VSA on you can use Flashpro to allow brake only and no throttle cut when VSA engages. You get TC in all flavors.

The one with the better tires will win. More grip will beat the minor power gains or minor suspension gains. When looking at each they are only about .5 to 1 second faster. Tires are the biggest gain. On an S2000, Hoosier A6 should run a 1:21, Hoosier R6 1:22, NT-01 1:24, and RS3 1:25.

I think 1:25 on RS 3s may be doable, but it will take some suspension or aero.

At 3.9 sec off, with the top down, I still feel OK. Once I go the splitter/GT wing, that is in the bag.

Also thinking Ohlins or AST no aero would be 4K or KW v3 with aero would be ~4K so which direction yields the best results, lesser suspension and aero or top notch suspension no aero?
