Street tires suck. If you get the urge to drive something with R tires, let me know. I've got a few to burn before next season, and I'm always interested in seeing how I stack up against another good driver.
I was going to volunteer, until I read that last part.

I'll be out there again in the "new" RX-8... now with 100% less vinyl!
Is it black? If so, I think I saw you heading to work the other day. Looks sharp!

Thanks for the offer! I probably won't make that event, but hopefully sometime I can catch up with you and get a ride-along.

You do yourself a disservice, Elistan. I'd definitely rate you a good driver. Dunno if I'd stretch it to "great", though...

However, the seat has been filled. I promised tailchaser I'd let him drive it some day, and he cashed in for this event. You're welcome to a fun run or two if you want, though.

Between 6:30am and 7:00am. Twilight starts at 6:30, true sunrise is at 7. We stay in Mineral Wells Friday night in order to get an early start on setup.

Hey guys, hope I can make it... just got sick and I'm on some medication I'm not suppose to drive on so hopefully I can get off them before it's too late... I can squeeze in last minute even if registration's full right?

Just checked the forecast for this Saturday - Partly cloudy, light winds and a high around 70 F. Not bad at all. I know I'm looking forward to our last autox of the season.
