What to do with wrecked 2002 S2000 from side collision
Wrecked a 2002 S2000 this weekend. Looks totaled from passenger side impact. Car was in great shape otherwise and well-maintained - 130K mi. I've never had to sell a wrecked car before and not sure where to start. Seems a shame to essentially give it to a salvage yard. I'd rather see it go somewhere it can benefit other local enthusiasts. Any suggestions on what to do with the car now?
You have a couple good options, but are very dependent on your skill level and time. For the most money and most time invested...Sell for parts on craigslist being your own junkyard. This option will take longer and please dont do this outside of a garage. The other option is sell is in current condition on craigslist/here on forum. It would be a good pickup for someone wanting a drivetrain swap to another vehicle. Last option with least money is junk yard; might get $500 for it.
