My s2000 been sitting for about 5 years. I let a “friend” use it while I was away. He ended up ****ing it up and left it on the side of the road, it got towed and we got it back months later and it been sitting for about 5 years. Now I want to fix it up but not sure what damage was done to it. It had no gas no I added gas and put in a new battery. It sound like it’s about to start up but just not quite there. Any suggestions on what I should do?

 

Hey, not much action on NTX forum as most use FB. Were you able to get you car running? If so, what did you do? If not, please provide additional information such as year, general location and mileage.

Yeah I got it running, it needed a starter. But after driving it around for awhile it started blowing black smoke. I checked the dip stick and it’s all white creamy gooey lol so maybe the head is blown?

Good chance it is related to fuel mixture, possibly too much fuel and not enough air.
