I'm SOS stage 2 supercharged and had my car tuned by Seth at Cartune/BH Factory. My experience there was good, and Seth is a good guy. However, my power figures were extremely disappointing. Made 345whp on a novi 1200 with a 3.4" pulley. I've seen countless amounts of people here making well over 400whp with this setup, but Seth said it's impossible for our cars to do so. That kind of weirded me out a bit. My car ran alright after the tune, but had some afr issues. I'm not sure what the deal is with my car, but everyone likes Seth so I wouldn't say no to him. But I think I'll be taking mine to PRT in a week or two for a checkup and dyno. I want another tuners opinion. My friend who has a very nice fd3s rx7 highly recommends Steve at PRT as well so that's where I'm headed to.

I'm having PRT tune mine today. I made 385 hp on my Novi 1220 with a 3.6 pulley. That was tuned by T1 tho.

Awesome, let me know how it goes. I'm hoping PRT can help me with my issues.

Steve is a super nice guy and spent several hours getting it right. He uses a mustang Dyno, so peak numbers aren't as high, but I am very happy with it. We left it fairly conservative since its a track car and will see sustained high rpm.

It made 351 hp. Super smooth and very responsive. I am using a low compression motor, so a little less was to be expected. The good news is, I saw 21 psi on the 38-91. We left it with a boost cut at 17 psi.

On the road it is really smooth and quick.

Awesome, sounds like it was a good experience. Just out of curiousity, are you running a novi 1220 or 1200?

I should update my first post. I'm actually running a low compression motor with a new Kraftwerks C38-91 kit. Tuned on KPro. ID 1000 injectors. 3" straight exhaust from Berk header.

Oh that makes sense haha I was like, 38-91 is a rotrex isn't it? Lol. But I'm glad to hear that PRT was good for you. You would definitely be over 400whp on a stock compression motor. Does his mustang dyno actually read pretty low?

Good to hear. Thanks for all the info, man can't wait to take my car there. Maybe I'll see you out in some of the future events/meets, I'd love to see that kraftwerks setup haha.

Nice to see so many supercharged local guys. I am in DFW area as well and have been street tuning my 05 Vortech setup myself. I have a FMIC setup and I am running K-pro with an RSX wideband setup wired in. Currently I am running a 6" crank Pulley with 3.8 blower at 10psi but once I get my 6.5cp and 3.6 blower pulley in I will have Jeff Evans do an e-tune. I paid him before he stopped doing e-tunes... Its nice to know there are some local shops with experience. Tony P was the only one to tune my RSX back in the day before GTRs so I am glad there seems to be some trusted shops for the S. Hope to see some of you guys sometime around.
