Turbo S2000 in North Texas
Hey group,
I've had my 2005 S2K for almost a year now, and have been having a blast. That said, I've always been a bit power-hungry and put together a build sheet for conservative turbo/E85 setup. Essentially, more low/mid range torque and a supercharger offered, but not something that's going to kill the responsiveness and top-end characteristics of the S2000. Once I completed the tally, the sticker price started pushing me to consider simply selling the Honda and buying a factory-boosted car. I've ridden and test driven a few things so far and narrowed it down to three alternatives - 1993-95 MR2 turbo, 1993-95 RX-7, 1990-1992 R32 GTR.
The 'problem' is I still the love feel of the S2000 so I can't quite make up my mind. I was wondering if there's anyone in the area that has a boosted S2000 that could offer personalized feedback on their experience with the car. Thanks all!

There are a few local boosted S2000's, but mostly they are supercharged rather than turbo. You will likely have better response on the Facebook group, or if you would like to drive my supercharged car, I will be at the third Thursday meet this week (weather permitting).

Appreciate the fast response. I've got another engagement so I can't make it out to the Thursday meeting. I've never been a big facebook user so I'll have to spend some time on it. Hopefully I can make the next meetup.
