May be old news to some of you... but i just got this in my email today:


Effective12-20-2006 all cell phone numbers will be released to telemarketers which allows them to call your cell phone and you will be charged for the call. Below is the phone number and web site for the National No Call Registry.
You must use the cell phone that you want registered to make the call or go to the web site and do all your cell phone numbers from there. Your phone number will remain on the registry for 5 years. If you change your cell phone number you have to register your new number.

Weird.. the info in the email i got (site and number) are correct.. so i wonder whats to gain by the "scam" email?

It's not a "scam" e-mail. It's a chain letter. Just like any other chain letter, it has no purpose other than to convince people to forward it to all their friends and chew up internet bandwidth.




Now, post a copy of my reply in 10 other forums or your best friend's dog will die in 4 days.
