Temming: E-Mail Hacked?
Dave, did your e-mail get hacked, or are you really stranded in London? I'm guessing the later, but wanted to check.
(If you got an e-mail from Dave, then you probably want to disregard unless he doesn't respond and really is trapped in London.)

Ryan, I just spoke with him on the phone... he is NOT in London and his email was indeed hacked and he is aware of the email that went out and has contacted his email provider about it.

Thanks for following up guys. The email was hacked but is now back in my control. The hacker however deleted all of my contacts so I cannot send a follow-up email. Yahoo has promised to have my contacts restored within the next 24 hours. What a deal!

Seriously, I got the email too. My facebook got hacked and a guy posted something similar on my facebook page a few months back. What's crazy is this person communicated with people who sent me IM's on facebook and tried to convince them to send the money.

Whoops I guess I should have checked this thread before sending him a PM. I got the same strange email too, glad to hear it's being worked out. I knew it was a scam since the grammar and spelling were terrible.
