that was pretty generic. you could have been more specific

so you're going from a 200 treadwear tire to another 200 treadwear tire. good luck with that.

My apologies! I figured since I omitted the HTR it would be specific enough.

Thanks! You may or may not know, but different tire companies use different compounds that will affect longevity and other properties in different ways, regardless of what the tread wear rating is.

Multiple factors determine treadwear rates and most of them are a function of driving conditions and operating environment, and not the tire itself. As a result, actual tire wear will vary considerably within the same tire line. However, two tires with exactly the same compound should have a treadwear rating that varies in accordance with tread depth.

Thank you for the information gentlemen, I do appreciate it!
I work for discount. We beat any price you can find guaranteed. I never understand why people buy tires online still tbh. I don't get on here often but I work at the store in carrollton, tx off josey.

I'm not here to defend the company I work for or make deals on here. I understand people may have had bad experiences at a discount or somewhere else in the past but if you need something just come see me and I'll do anything I can.
if you've worked there when james worked there you have probably worked on my car.

to answer your question i order from another member (or former, he traded his S in for a vette...) here and pick up mainly because his prices are great and discount doesn't offer HTRZ3s.

I know James but we've never worked at the same store.

Actually discount can get sumitomo's. We just got a set in for a customer the other day

if you have a spare minute sometime this week can you see what a pair of htrz3's would be in 225/45/17 and 255/40/17? if not, no worries.

I assume he had no worries...a quick search on tirerack.com shows them for $91 each for 225/45/17 plus road hazard, if you want the warranty. Some discount tires match tirerack prices from what I hear.
