Default Track Day at Hallett Near Tulsa

Hi All:

I've got an itch to get back to Hallett (near Tulsa) and am thinking we could do this very inexpensively with around 25-30 drivers on Monday, October 29th. No instructors, just lapping.

Essentially we show up, drive all day stopping only for new brake pads, bathroom breaks, food and fuel. Cost no more then $200 per driver. Plan on seven(7) twenty-five minute run sessions per group.

If you have interest, drop me an e-mail at Feffman@MVPTrackTime.com or call (314) 249-3770. I've a short four weeks to get this together. No need to pay yet.

Happy Motoring!

Hallet is one of my favorite tracks as well. Probably second overall to TWS on the ones I've driven.

I'd love to do it, but I'll be down at MSRH with NASA on Oct 27/28.

Has track time gotten more pricey or am I the only one that thinks $200 (even for that few drivers) with no instructors is a little pricey?

Someone is making some money. $200 to run for one day, on a Monday no less, is pretty steep.

Gents:

If I may, please allow me to correctly and accurately address your assumptions.

First of all we do have qualified instructors from PCA, ACNA, SCCA, BMWCCA and NASA at our events. Initially we were opting out of instructors for Hallett as it was to be experienced drivers only, but the various requests we've had from novice driver has warranted instructors.

Second, you guys are welcome to run an event for any price you want. IF (notice big IF) you can run at Hallett with 25 people for under $200, I'll gladly run with you because you'll be loosing money. If you feel I'm wrong, call Scott Stephens at Hallett and ask about track rental including necesary liability insurance, corner workers, tow truck, ambulance and EMT, etc.

Finally, and most importantly, I'm confident if you run at an MVP Track Time track day, you'll be very pleased with the operation, amount of track time ( seven, 2-minute sessions = three hours at Hallett) and saftey of our track days. Those who run with us reguarly rave about our events. I'm happy to supply a number of referrals if you'd like to speak with them. If you'd like contact info for said referrals, drop me an e-mail at Feffman@MVPTrackTime.com

Happy Motoring and I hope to see everyone at the race track!
