Trans feeling sticky question

This is my first winter with my s2k and it is my daily, maybe it’s just me but I want to see if anyone can confirm this with me since these cold days it seems hard to put in reserve and to put it in 1st-3rd once the car is warmed up after driving say 30 min its still somewhat hard to put in gear.

When I purchased the car with 47k I did the 60k maintenance by Honda so all fluids have been changed. Wondering if this is normal for colder weather or if I should go and get the fluid change to motul instead of Honda oem. Again I am new to the s2k the trans is way different feel from b-series but its normally smoother now its kind of hard and have to double clutch and try to put in gear with a little force, there no odd noises from what I can tell to make me think the fluid is low :suspect:

Sounds like the clutch needs bleeding. Also check your clutch master cylinder as well and make sure it's not leaking, feel your carpeting underneath the clutch pedal and see if it's wet. If it is your CMC is bad.

agree, but temperature does make a difference.

if the cmc was bad, usually you would notice a huge difference in the feeling of the actual clutch rather than how tough it would be to put the car into gear.

Yea sometimes if the cmc is bad then you'll feel both the pedal and clutch since the engagement is going to be off due to lack of pressure. I would check with what vanishing point said!

I've checked it out there no leaks thankfully, I am just going to go ahead and bleed the clutch, trans, diff all at the same time and switch to motul. i have put roughly 30k since i purchased this s2k but when I did i took it to a honda dealer and had everything done i guess its time again to switch the fluids.

How did it go with the fluid change and maintenance? Did it fix the problem by any chance?

Haven't had the opportunity to get it changed just yet crazy work schedules I need to find someone that I can just go too on the weekend that’s willing to help.
