This wknd - Dragon Boat, Kite and Lantern Festival
s2ki member jk (owner of Mr Wok if you've ever been there - if you haven't, you should) is sponsoring a dragon boat team at this year's festival. EgoThreat, with her college rowing experience, will be on the team.

It's this Sunday, May 17, from 10am to 6pm at Lake Carolyn in Irving (Las Colinas area, near where the mustang statues are.)

I was there on KOI 1 - didn't see anyone I recognized though. We won our division 
Our quickest time was 1.17.2XX I believe. Beat the next best in our division by .3secs!

We were team Wok 'n Row. (1st in division, 4th overall - would have been better but we were robbed by some bad steering 
) A somewhat diverse little group, united by our love of peking duck. PilotSi, I guess I didn't recognize you - I'm horrible putting real names, faces, cars and screen names together. Have you been to any of the NTS2KOC autocrosses? EgoThreat would have been the easiest to pick out if so.

Did you have the female steersmen? W/ the cowboy hat? She wrecked my practice boat on Saturday and almost maimed our faces on our 3rd race when we almost rammed another boat! 
I wasn't feeling too good about that in our 3rd heat, but we did what we needed to do
I have been to 2 of the Christmas parties in the last 3 years - but hard for me to make it to S2k Sat Autocrosses. Lately Sunday autocrosses have been tough for me too...
I did run into you guys once at Lavon while driving around aimlessly on a nice Sunday if that rings a bell

Holy crap! Yep, that was her. We'll have to stage a mutiny if we're ever assigned to her boat next year.
