Derbyshire dales and peak district breakfast run - Sat 8th June

Second Running of S2kuk Derbyshire breakfast run through the peak district.

The run is taking place on Sat June 8th, starting from Sainsburys car park, Ashbourne DE6 1BW @ 8am. (meeting at 7.30am - for a sharp 8am departure - if you arrive earlier be warned there is a 2 hr time limit on carpark before you get a fine.....)

There will be approx 90 miles of driving skirting through the Derbyshire dales up into the high peak district, taking approx. 2 and a half hours.

The route has evolved a little this year taking in a few different routes, partly by choice, partly because of road closures...….but our traverse of the dales and peak district will have something for everyone.

We'll keep a nice steady pace, so we can enjoy the scenery as well as the drive and hopefully keep the group together this year :P

There will be a short coffee stop part way round at Flash Bar Stores (highest village in the UK), with the run ending at the legendary Yonderman café for a late breakfast.

I have the route electronically via google maps, that I can send to attendees that want it on the morning of the run (or prior if you PM me directly).

Fuel in Ashbourne is sparse, so ensure you have enough juice to cover the first 25 miles until we get to Bakewell where there will be opportunity for those to refuel that need too.

Fingers crossed we get the weather again this year
