Hi all I have not been on this forum for around 2 years. we used to have regular Yorkshire meets at wetherby with 6/7 regular attendees but time moves on and people have other priorities.
I may join you on this meet if I can but I am on call next week so it will depends on how things go at work on the day, if I don't make it I will look out for the next meet date and hope to make it to that one.
it is nice to see plenty of interest in the Yorkshire area again.

Hi All

I have tried to make the meeting time more convenient for those travelling some distance. However since doing so there has been no take up by those who advised of a problem in the first place!

The restaurant also now advise that group arrival near 8.30pm would jeopardise us getting a meal. Since the whole purpose is a Whitby Fish n’chip run then there is no option but to put the times back to the originals - I would not like to be responsible for all returning home hungry!



The original start time should also allow some photo opportunities with a good evening light on the moors. ( Think of the S2KUK calendar competition ! )

Langland’s Garden Centre Car park, Shiptonthorpe YO43 3PN 6.30pm depart

(Malton) Eden Camp entrance A64/A169 intersection 7.05pm

Pickering (if necessary) BP garage A169/A170 jct 7.15pm

Arrive Whitby Marina/Co-op car park 8.00pm

Trenchers Restaurant 8.10pm



With Facebook S2KUK attendees and the forum we now have 12 cars, with around 15 still “thinking”.

Longest Day Whitby Fish n'chip run

Numbers update. With most having now confirmed from Forum and Facebook it looks like we have an ideal number for the drive. 11 cars in total to press. Look forward to that sound of 11 S's in Vtec over the moors and a scenic drive in general !
