I have reserved us the whole car park at Whitwell Harbour at Rutland Water on Sun 14th July
The site opens at 11am and we have a whole six hours to have a walk, picnic, badminton, etc.

As all the available spaces have now been reserved I have added another option to the Eventbrite site for attending but parking elsewhere.
If you choose this option and a space becomes available then I will upgrade you - first come first served.

UPDATE:
Sorry for the lack of updates recently - Let's just say I am feeling better again now.
Just checked and I can see that the long range weather forecast is looking good. :)
I am waiting for a reply from Anglian Water to see if we can squeeze you on the four cars that are currently "parking elsewhere".
We still have 16 of these tickets available - it's not too late to join in.
Gates open at 11am. Sharon, I and the Moo are staying in a hotel nearby so we should be there nice and early.
If you manage to beat us there then please park sensibly as we need to get as many cars in as possible.
