Unfortunately we won't be able to make it this year as we have other plans. I can live without SSC for one year, been for the last 5! Good to see people's posts about going for the first time, there is so much to do and see and listen to! Be prepared for every weather eventuallity!! Enjoy enjoy enjoy!!

Interested in this - the OH is on holiday in Italy with her mum, so I'm home alone (bar the cat), just booked a cancellable room at the holiday inn in Northhampton to secure one, as they had some left on free reward nights ;-).
Never been to the classic before (used to Marshal at Oulton Park and did the Gold Cup many times, as well as the Britcar24) - I anyone wouldnt mind commenting - whats happens with the club areas and where are folks staying - camping or nice hotel.? I remember hearing about traffic being a mare on the saturday?
If I can sort cat sitting out I may be there..

SOme people camp, some stay nearby. Sat can be busy getting in, but it's fine early doors, nowhere near as bad as the F1
