Start point will be Blyth Services, Bawtry Road, Blyth, nr Worksop, S81 8HG at Junction 34 off the A1(M), grid ref SK625882. Meet time 10am for a 10.30 am departure. The morning run will be about 2 hours with a stop for lunch at the Angel Inn pub in Blyth around 12.30. Leaving after lunch about 1.45pm and heading south west finishing at the Kings Arms, Derby Road, Hathern, Nr Loughborough approximately 3.45pm where at seating area will be reserved for us to sit for just a drink or food before home departures.

One round of the Time Attack Championship is held at this event, (so hopefully the HEL Performance S2000 will be competing!) as well as a round of the European Drift Championship.

Mazda on Track have a day on the Snetterton 300 circuit on the 10th August.
Their usual price is £249, but with my Mission Motorsport hat on I have access to places at £219. Nick at MoT has asked me to spread the word as he is low on numbers for the day. The route is a lovely drive on a mixture of A, B and C-roads, I try to make sure that the pace is dependant on the slowest driver, and we do wait to let folk catch up if necessary. We stick to the 30 and 40 limits through the villages. I have SatNav files and Google Maps links if people want to navigate it solo. To have clear run, we leave early in the morning from Christ Church Chorleywood Car Park.

SURREY / HANTS AUTUMN RUN - Sun 3rd November

Run will likely take in the Hindhead Tunnel to keep those with noisy exhausts happy, then head down into Hampshire for a morning bacon sandwich and coffee stop - possibly Loomies, then around the south downs and back towards Guildford. May even include a stop at a garden somewhere to take in some autumn colours - perhaps Winkworth Arboretum near Godalming where we can finish up for a walk in the trees and lunch for anyone who wants it.

Stage rallying returns to Oulton Park this winter with the Neil Howard Stage Rally, organised by the Bolton Le-Moors Car Club. Last year's event featured a superb entry list on a glorious day at the Cheshire circuit and this should be a cracking repeat. This is now the club's premier event and attracts competitors from all over the country.
