Chris Evens and his team are returning in 2016 to organise another Car Fest South (see other post for the Northone!)

The deal is £250 per car with 2 wristbands for 2 people for the whole weekend Friday/Sat/Sun including club campsite pitch. The same thing (which is sold out! direct from CarFest) without being able to show your car on our stand is over £300. The only restriction is about having your car on display and sticking to time restrictions for that - which I have put below - it's early! (But you can leave the car on the stand overnights)

Schedule and Key Facts

Thursday 25th August12.00 – 21.00
Car Club Co-ordinators/ Secretaries should arrive as early as possible.Car Club display cars to arrive at ‘Production and Display Vehicles’ Entrance, Gate B.You will be directed straight into the ‘Paddock Field’ and into you parking slot by our marshals on arrival at the site.You must be display a valid ‘Participant Vehicle pass’ in order to gain access to the site.

12.00 - 22.00 Car Club Camp Siteopen to arrivals.We strongly recommend that all display cars are brought to site on Thursday as there is very little time allowed on Friday morning for access to site. On Friday we are expecting high volumes of traffic on the road as the visitor campsite opens at 7am.

Friday 26th August

07.00 – 09.00Late arrivals to arrive at ‘Production and Display Vehicles’ Entrance, Gate B. Any display cars arriving after 09.00hrs will not be allowed access to Car Club display area.Please arrive early to avoid a last minute rush.Public Car Parks opens for friends and family.

Saturday 27th August
07:00 – 08.00 Display Vehicles should arrive on site

Sunday 28th August
07.00 - 08.00 Display vehicles should arrive onsite18.30 Car Paddock Field closes – no vehicle movement until 6.30pm
22.00 Festival Closes to Public

I'm gutted I couldn't make this year so will be getting tickets on 8th Nov when they come out for 2016. Is there a club discount or do we buy direct?

It depends if we are successful in securing a club stand or not.

I could be interested if we get a club stand but would probably only want to do one day. iirc this wasn't an option last year as the car needed to be on stand all weekend (or it was only possible to buy a weekend ticket)

Yes, it's very difficult to co-ordinate one day on the stand as they allocate weekend wristbands, and extra ones have to be purchased, so it would end up more expensive more than likely

I heard both North & South sold out in a few hours. Were the club successful in securing a stand?

They have two tranches of ticket sales. One before Christmas that has just sold out and another in the New Year.
