Default Donington Historic - Sat 2nd to Mon 4th May *

http://www.doningtonhistoric.com/

Donington Historic Festival -Donington Park, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, May 2nd, 3rd and 4th 2015.

With close-fought racing every day, over 400 historic racing cars spanning seven decades, historic rally car and karting action and a ‘living motoring museum’created by dozens of car clubs displays – plus a host of other attractions –exhilaration and entertainment is guaranteed, whether you buy a ticket for one,two or all three days! On each day of the Festival gates open at 07.30am and the circuit activity starts at 9.10am, finishing at around 6.30pm.

The provisional timetable will be announced early in 2015. Members of car clubs registered to attend the event benefit from a two-for-one ticket offer on advance tickets when they quote their unique club code at time of booking(deadline Saturday, April 25th), and, at the time of booking, will be asked to request the number of infield passes they require, allowing them to join the other cars on display in their club's dedicated infield parking area, to create a fantastic exhibit for all spectators to enjoy. Children aged 15 and under(accompanied by an adult) get in for free.

Club code*: UKS2000DHF15

BOOKINGTICKETS

Carclub ticket deadline

Please note the club ticket booking deadline of 5pm on Saturday, April 25th

Buy tickets online

There's a button on the home page of the DHF website that links directly to advanced ticket sales,or if you want to embed a link directly to ticket sales in your own website, the link is:

http://doningtonpark...storic-festival

Your members must enter your club's unique offer code and press the 'use code' button, then the prices on the page will change to your club prices, rather than the full prices originally displayed. At that point they will also be asked to request infield display parking passes.

Please note that car club discounted tickets are offered in multiples of two, and the price shown is the discounted price for one ticket. When they add two tickets to their basket, they will therefore be getting two tickets for the (full) price of one. If they want four tickets for theprice of two full-priced ones, they must click '4'! We did have one or two people last year who got a little confused and consequently only bought half the amount of tickets they needed...

Children aged 15 and under (accompanied by an adult) get in for free. And each ticket gives two-for-one entry to the Donington Grand Prix Collection over the weekend and for the following two months.

Buyingtickets over the phone

Ticket hotline number is: 0844 873 7355 Your members willneed to quote the car club code to take advantage of the club offer.

SeeTickets' charges

SeeTickets levies the following additional charges on top of our ticket prices - a booking fee per ticket to cover their admin costs, plus a transaction fee on the total order.

£20 Saturday, Sunday or Monday single day ticket £1

£32 Saturday + Sunday or Sunday + Monday 2-day ticket £1.60

£45 3-day weekend ticket £2.26

So two Saturday tickets bought using a car club two-for-one offer code will incur a £1 total booking fee and therefore cost £21.00 (i.e. £10.50 per person) plus the transaction fee. The transaction fee isa one-off post and packaging cost for the total order, and that is the samewhether a member is buying one pair of tickets or 25 pairs of tickets. The transaction fee is £1.95 per order for first class post and £6.40 for registered post. So the total cost for those two Saturday tickets bought using a car club code and sent first class post will be £22.95. Your members will be able to choose their preferred method of postage at the checkout.

Ticket Despatch - about three weeks before the event.

CAR CLUB PARADES

There will be one each day of the Festival, at lunchtime, featuring a maximum of 100 cars (across all clubs) each day. This is a hugely popular part of the event, and places will be decided on a ‘draw’ system, which we think is the fairest way! We confirm numbers of parade cars per club in advance and produce special parade car passes, and ask club officials to ensure that their members who are taking part sign on at our club admin tent in the infield and collect their parade passes there. Further details will follow.

just noticed this nugget on the Donington Historic site

For each pair of tickets bought through the car club offer, your members can request (at time of booking) up to two car passes giving access to the exclusive car club infield display parking area. Please note, only cars which are club-appropriate are allowed into the infield, and we do ask that the car’s date, make, model and registration number are provided at the time of ticket booking, if available.

So SWMBO should be able to get her car on to her club stand

(She has one of those pesky MX5s...)

I'll probably be up there for the Sunday or Monday depending on weather. My last trip to Donnington was wet to say the least
