Default God speaks to Beardie meet....

Turn back my son you're going the wrong way.

As he appeared in the form of a bolt from the heavens directly in front of Beardie

But seriously we were on a road that by all reason should have been getting better but was actually getting worse and was shaking both cars to pieces when we arrived at a derelict house in the middle of nowhere after crossing about 50 ponds of substantial depth when a lightning bolt appeared before us with almost no delay till the thunder hit, at which point beardie thought better of that route.

A really good run none the less and the navigation got a lot better later on

Here's some pics, apologies for the quality but it was seriously hard going today I've left the blurry ones in as they give a better feel for what it was like.

The ones from later on in the day are a bit better.

And that was it, from me, for today. I think Beardie has a couple of shots as well.

I only really got a chance to concentrate on the pictures when we got stuck behind the MGB Classic club doing 30, too busy trying to stay on the black stuff the rest of the time, that's my excuse anyway

Flippin 'eck!

That's the most pics from a 2 car meet, and possible from any mini-meet I've ever seen!

Have to confess....I personally like those 04 wheels!

Love the title Jim.
You could have also called it, Beardie shits himself after lightning strike.

This has to be the wettest meet I've been on. Torrential rain for a good third of the run, but we still managed to get the tops down in between the storms.

It even included the hallmark of a good Beardie run.... ...heading the wrong way up somebody's driveway. (Feckin useless maps).

Here's the few I got.

Was interesting seeing the MG Owners Club. They always fall into 2 categories.
The wanabees in their MGB's and the hardcore guys in their MGA's and everything older. I'm always jealous when I see these guys tootling about in there MG TF's and the like.

Good day out
