I'm going to be routing through Storrington on the way down to pick up my nephew. Still happy to meet up at the Shell station if others happy with a small detour. (I'm sure my nephew would be well impressed with a convoy of s2000s pulling up outside his house at that time of the morning !).

I've never been to one of these, but would they not stick us all together as they now who is coming?
If there are any early birds intending on getting there before the track opens, would a meet at the Mc Donalds down at the bypass be a good idea? Apparently the gates open to the public car park at 0630, first entry to the track is at 0700.according to the Goodwood faq's on their website

I've been to a few of these now and previously you arrive and are allocated the next available space, that could be in the paddock if you are early enough, otherwise somewhere on the track. You need to be in the breakfast club 'clique' to get onto the start / finish straight. People have been known to be sent to the public car park even if they have been accepted, but that might be due to capacity. The trick is not to arrive too late.
Ignore what they say on their website, I've arrived well before official opening time before and there were already many cars on site.
So the only way to park together is to arrive together. I'd happily share my mobile number if anyone wants to meet up once we're in. PM me and I'll PM it back. That might be the only way.

So For those in Mid/East Sussex/Hove/Brighton etc. 0530 at Hill Top and then we can either go direct - or enjoy some back routes and add 10 mins?

Due to the early start that is being planned, we will not be attending this after all. We would have to leave home around 4.30 to meet up with Andy at 5.30, which would mean getting up in the middle of the night for us.
Last time I went, arrived at a 'sensible' time, queued for ages and parked in the middle of nowhere, so you have to get there early!
