Hertfordshire Cristmas Meet?
I have noticed quite a few new owners in the Herts. area on here over the last few months.
Anyone up for a meet over the christmas period?
For a location I would sugest "The Waggoners", Welwyn Garden City. It is ~ central Herts and easy to get to from both north and south on the A1M:
Pub Location
The afternoon of Sunday the 29th would be a good time as would any evening. They have a restaurant and they do bar meals - I suspect the restaurant is good as I have never been able to get a table there.
PS Essex ad Beds people also welcome

Hi
I was trying to get some people together, preferably for lunch or afternoon on the 29th, towards the west of London in this thread https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...&threadid=93762
Any way we can combine the two groups into one?
I have to step back from the organising bit though as I am not familiar with the pubs in that area.
Cheers

This would turn an afternoon meet into an all day meet if you include the 3 hours driving.
Most people in Herts should be able to get to Welwyn Garden City in less than half an hour.

Yeah I thought about it after posting and realised it was a bit of a trek.
OK well whether in Hants/Berks or Welwyn it's looking like I'll be able to catch up with some people, even if I won't have my S2000 with me

The pub opens on a Sunday from 12.00 to 10:30, food is served from 12:30 to 2:15 in both the restaurant and bar. I was told the the bar is normally quiet on a Sunday afternoon.
The Waggoners pub is quite popular for car car meets, there is a classic car club that meets there on Friday nights once a month, the The GT40 Enthusiasts Club meet there the 2nd Wednesday of every month, the Riley and Alfa Romeo owners clubs meet there on Tuesday nights....
Here is the Multimap location for the pub:
