Default 2009 slight knock. More of a fast tap on start up

only lasts 5 min or so. also ive had my car for two years now but was just reading some stuff about the 2009s being a bit of a pig. cant be true can it.

i dont am not to handy with that sort of thing. the wee car only has 30.000mils on it an i dont drive it that hard. will try get i video up 2moro.

They had issues with an incorrect build, some washers on the crank?

Get someone knowledgeable to look/listen

yes i must get that looked at. am starting to think that wee knock/tap noise is the time that takes the oil to get round the engine cas its not drove that much. surley that noise wod last more than 5min if it was something major like the crank. just thinking outloud

Oil circulation would be seconds, not minutes. 5mins is likely to be something else, related to heat build up, eg piston slap due to tolerances closing up as it warms up.

What oil are you using and have you checked the dipstick?

oil line is 100%. oil in it is the stuff honda says to put in onless i was give"n the wrong stuff

Nah, they all do it a little when cold. Was just an example though. Difficult to know what it is without hearing it.
