No, I've not seen it before and it does hark back to some of the early renderings for the AP1, which were clearly S800-inspired.

Although I can easily mistake Hondas for Mercedes these days, it doesn't look too impressive an illustration!

I'd hope for something more like the AP1, than the SLK

Fortunately, speculative renderers don't work for Honda, they work for mags.

That's not entirely true; Mark Stehrenberger did some lovely renderings (often better than the real design!) and also had a design consultancy business.

Anyway, apparently rumours coming down American Honda are that the Tokyo lot have stopped navel-gazing and are developing a proper S2000 replacement.

I refer to it as the S3000, since it fits with the Acura GT5000 moniker (since people continually whine about 'NSX replacement') I invented and 6/10 of that engine might help spread development costs!
