SeaHawk - Must try harder! There are water marks to the left of the grille and your tyres need waxing!
I've got a week off between jobs at the end of april - it'll be time to break out the snow foam and DA polisher! I'm actually quite excited

Indeed, keith My wheels need refurb really. In the meantime, there must be something I can do to them.Any recommendations?
(As for posting from flickr,I've had problems in the past, but was advised to grab the BBC link, then just copy and paste it;preview the pic and you'll see what needs to be deleted from the link.If it works for me, PC illiterate, it'll work for anyone)

Difficult to tell from that pic, but a pretty good guide for getting them looking their best is;
1- your choice of wheel cleaner, get all the little tar spots and patches of baked-on brake dust off there. WD40 can work wonders on tar.
2- Wash the wheels and tyres with your usual car shampoo. A Wheel brush is good for the wheels, any stiff brush will do on the tyres.
3- Allow to dry and then apply wax to the wheels - remmber they're painted metal, just like the rest of the car.
4- Tyre shine for contrasty goodness.
Alternatively you could paint them Focus Asbo Orange - like my play-wheels

finally i got it right.
Heres my S after 8 hours of cleaning. Heres my method of cleaning her
Pressure washed it then went over it with meguires hyper wash using my pa foam lance and rinsed off
Washed with meguires nxt car wash using two bucket method with halfords wool mit
Dried it using polished bliss drying towel
removed all tar with tardis (amazing product removes tar so easily)
Clayed the bodywork with meguires smooth surface clay bar and detailing spray
Washed the body and wheels off again
Dried off again.....
Set to waxing the body with jeffs werkstat acrilic primer and buffed off with microfiber towel
Applied two coats of jeffs werkstat acrilic trigger and buffed off with microfiber towel
Applied two coats of poorboys wheel sealant to wheels
Applied autoglm vinyl and rubber care to tyres
cleaned off backboxes with tardis and then autosol ( these are very shiney as I previously removed the paint from them)
Treated all rubber seals with sinetsu grease
Today I have done the softtop with 303 and looks brand new just the interior and engine bay to do now
