Thanks mate. The car was a BG import. Will drop them a line and speak to my local dealership.

Am in the market for a Gen 2 and a new HU.

Interestingly the stock exhaust is now sounding better (more sporty and burbly) to me now that the car has a couple of thousand miles under its belt. Does this make sense to people? Now have far less a desire to meddle at the back end. (fnarr, fnarr).

Of course, if I lived in the middle of nowhere with no neighbours I would probably be forced to bolt on this monster: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MD0SkzD7Ymg

Didn't bother my neighbours at all, don't really get why people think it would.

Am fitting a Mugen CAI to my 2005 - dealer said warranty would be OK if not problem caused by intake - also that they would be happy as it was a Mugen part.

Shows how little the dealer knows. I just moved dealers when I got that kind of response. Not that Mugen make bad parts but they are no more or less likely to cause issues than J's Racing, HKS, AEM K&N etc.
