Yes it should, but also can we get some pics of this done? I am trying to figure out a solution for the rattle. It drives me crazy.

Button head flange head M6 (X20) screws are a better alternative to either socket or (plain) button head:

Just extend the existing holes by 5 mm at the fwd end of the catches. Replace the bolts with dome head Allen bolts
