Thumbs up Adjusting the handbrake
Hi,

Does anyone know how to adjust the cable for the had brake? I've treid the FAQ and search but can't find much. It's just passed the MOT but I was advised that the hand brake was marginal. I have to pull it all the way up to the last click to get any sort of engagement. Even then I'd be reluctant to leave it any where too steep. I'm guessing the cable needs some tightening but I don't know how!

IIRC the adjustment is under the centre console. I will find the instructions in a mo....

Yep pull up the centre console, its only clipped down and adjust the visible cables with a small spanner

I'd check your rear pads first.

A new set should fix teh handbrake adjustment for you!

Have just had new pads - well, 5k miles ago anyhow. I'll be following the instructions tonight. Thanks very much guys
