Default Advice jacking car up

Hi planning to change exhaust and I have 4 axle stands. Jacking points (middle)seem to be hard to reach using a jack. I've jacked each side (next to the wheels)and managed to put axle stands at the front end but when i start the rear im a bit worried everything will collapse. I know its not good to jack up each wheel and fit the axle stands. Any advice?

Yan, if you've got the front on axle stands you are half way there, level ground of course! The safest way to continue is to now jack the car on the rear diff ( you can use a piece of wood to spread the weight, get it up so that all four axle stands are at the same height and the car will be stable and safe to work on.

It'll be fine, the X-Bone structure is probably even stronger than a saloon car

As above if you can get the cup of a jack under the diff drain plug then that's the way to pick it up safely.
I personally would not use wood as it can slip off and that would make a mess.
The cheap jack I have has a serrated cup that will naturally locate onto the casting around the drain plug.

Thanks for the advice, thats what i've been trying, but the rear diff is too far for my jack to reach, got a 2 ton jack, those mini ones.
Did try to jack the rear wheels individually but heard all sorts of cracks and sounds and got worried all would collapse on me.
Unless I stick two pieces of wood under the rear wheels then i woud be able to access the rear diff.
Bloody car is too low

You don't need to jack up the front for an exhuast (unless you are decatting or doing the manifold)
Chock the front wheels
Jack up one side of the rear with the Honda jack
Sliding in the 2 ton trolley jack under the diff, angle it so the handle goes up the side of the exhaust behind the rear bumper.
Jack away replacing the Honda jack with axle stand either side!
Job done!
Works for me and mine is 35mm lower than stock
